James G. Prickett

My condolences to Jim's family, friends and loved ones.

In 1957 Jim and I played hockey together. The New Brighton Canadiens. One of the first Mounds View Midget Hockey teams ever.  We won it all.  Usually by games end we were skating on our ankles.

In high school Jim was our southpaw place kicker and punter, "34 I think.  Jim broke his leg during a conference game.  It was all caught on the game film.  He was done with football for the year and wore a cast for weeks.  Ouch!

Jim was a good wrestler. We shared the same Phy.Ed class and weight class. I tried hard to beat him on the wrestling mat.  I came close once,  But Jim always managed to pin me in the end.

These were great memories.  Jim was a good friend and classmate.  I will not, and cannot forget.

Jim, I hope you have found peace.

Jim Prickett
